FAQ

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

Most couples book anywhere from 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season in Northern California. If you’re planning a Mendocino, Sonoma, or coastal California wedding, earlier is always better. That said, I do occasionally have availability for shorter timelines, so it never hurts to ask.

Do you photograph large weddings as well as intimate weddings?

Yes! I photograph everything from intimate elopements and micro weddings to full, large-scale wedding celebrations. Whether you’re planning a 20-person coastal ceremony or a full wedding day with hundreds of guests, my approach stays the same: thoughtful, story-driven, and focused on real moments.

Where are you based and do you travel for weddings?

I’m based in Mendocino County, California, and I regularly photograph weddings throughout Northern California, including Sonoma, Napa, Big Sur, and beyond. I also travel for weddings outside the area. Travel fees apply for locations outside Mendocino County, and I’m always happy to provide a custom quote.

What is your photography style?

My style is candid, emotional, and true-to-color with a timeless feel. I focus on genuine moments rather than stiff posing, so your photos feel natural and authentic years from now. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also give space for real moments to unfold naturally.

Do you help with posing if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

Absolutely. Most couples tell me they feel awkward at first, and that’s completely normal. I give gentle direction and prompts that feel natural, never forced. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident so your photos reflect who you actually are.

How do we book you for our wedding?

Booking is simple. Once you reach out through my contact form, we’ll chat about your wedding plans, confirm availability, and make sure we’re a great fit. A signed contract and retainer officially secure your date on my calendar.

Ready to work with me?

If you’re dreaming of wedding photos that feel natural, emotional, and unmistakably you, I’d love to hear your story. From the first conversation to the final gallery, I’m here to guide you, hype you up, and make sure your day feels as good as it looks. Let’s create something timeless together, the kind of images you’ll come back to for years.
