Emotive storytelling for your wedding day

Our Story

Our story began the way many a millennial friendship does: over social media! After brushing digital shoulders in more than one Facebook group for first responder spouses, we connected over a shared passion for mental health awareness. We believe that the families of first responders live uniquely challenging  lives, and we wondered whether those distinctive needs were being met. And slowly but surely, what began as lengthy chats (and more than a few rants, tbh), transformed into something we wanted to share with the world!

Today, we’d like to invite you to join our little first responder fam hang out! So, kick off your shoes, refill your pinot grigio, and pull up a bean bag chair! Here in our little clubhouse, we will share peeks behind the scenes into our own lives and interview some of the incredible mental health professionals who are helping first responder spouses like you thrive! We hope to cover a wide range of topics, including healthy communication, family life, marriage support, and tips to make it through shift day!

Loving a first responder is filled with some of the wildest highs and lows.

Boy, do we know it! But we want to hold your hand through the rough days and celebrate the amazing ones. Because you’re not alone in this crazy-beautiful kind of life! Together, we can conquer anything thrown our way.

Our goal:

The goal of this little venture is to give you a hand while sharing our stories. So, we want to invite you into the process of helping shape our show! Got a topic you’d like to hear us cover? Have a unique perspective you’d like to share? Want to send us feedback on an episode? We can’t wait to hear from you!

Hey there, I’m Chelsi!

I’m a professional photographer, big dreamer, and proud 13-year member of Team #firewifelife! I spend my days photographing walks down the aisle, but the most important walk in my life is the one my husband, Cameron, takes from his truck back through our door at the end of a shift. I believe that as the spouse of a first responder, you can be a safe place to land while also chasing what makes you come alive. So, whether that’s kicking ass as a business owner, landing your dream job, or being the chief of your home base, I can’t wait to encourage you in your journey!

What’s up, I’m Audra!

It’s so nice to meet you! I’m a proud mom of four and the wife of Fire Captain Damien. Woah, the last decade and a half as a firewife has been some kind of an adventure! I began this journey as a stay-at-home mom, caring for our kiddos and counting down the seconds until my husband safely returned from those grueling 48-hour shifts. Today, I still do all that while working as an independent insurance agent and actively serving my community! This life has built within me a confidence and strength that enables me to truly thrive in every aspect of my life. And I can’t wait to share my story with you while learning yours!
